Vivien Ellis - Singer / Composer

Vivien is best known as a singer of early music, performing regularly with The Dufay Collective, Sinfonye, the Orchestra of the Renaissance8 and in her own early / folk duo, Alba. She also sings jazz with Keith Tippet's Big Band and works in improvised music and contemporary opera. She has toured throughout Europe, North and South America and Australia, and has made numerous CDs and radio broadcasts. Vivien worked closely with Salamanda Tandem from 1992, making 4 full-length vocal works with Isabel Jones culminating in Triptych in 1999.
