Eye Contact Subvision

Eye Contact, a Salamanda Tandem initiative formed by Isabel Jones and Lewis Jones.It is a dance/performance company and professional training ground for sighted, blind and visually impaired dancers. The company is dedicated to an exploration of movement which enables those with different degrees of sight to work creatively together on an equal basis.
The form of dance used by the company has its roots in Contact improvisation, a dance form in which the primary sense is touch and physical contact with another person. Since its formation, Eye Contact has created three touring dance productions.
