turning points

Turning Points is a Salamanda Tandem Initiative based in Nottingham founded in 1993, which is open to independent adults with and without learning disabilities. It aims to meet the creative needs of an integrated group, enabling them to make interesting and innovative artwork on an equal basis.

Led by professional artists from Salamanda Tandem, the group develops awareness of body and self through movement, music and visual artwork. The artwork that they create for themselves is often of a transitory nature and rooted in exploration.
