Tony Baker - Writer/Musician

One of Salamanda Tandem's collective of artists since 1986, Tony Baker studied music at Trinity College, London before completing a doctorate in literature at Durham. Subsequently he has worked principally as a musician and writer, collaborating on a wide range of ST projects with groups of people of all ages with varied and distinctive abilities and needs. Living in France since 1995, in recent years he has contributed texts to ST performances while continuing to participate in project work whenever possible. He favours collaboration since it so readily transforms whatever we think we are - the potential of the ensemble always seems greater than the sum of the individual.
