Mick Wallis - AWP Project

Mick Wallis is Professor of Performance and Culture at the University of Leeds. In July 2001, Mick won a National Teaching Fellowship worth £50,000 over 3 years to promote excellence in Higher Education. In 1994 a report was produced in collaboration with Salamanda Tandem; 'Proposal for the Establishment of Part Time Professional Programmes in Arts Work with People (Defined Needs and Contexts)' (July 1994). It is this initiative that has inspired the new development of post graduate certificate in arts work with people(AWP).
