Kate Luxmoore - Musician

A classically trained clarinettist, Kate works with some of the country's leading Orchestras and Arts Organisations on a variety of community and participatory projects. Her performance experience encompasses working with folk, jazz, world, classical and contemporary music as well as cross arts work, involving dance, visual art, theatre and story telling, with which she has performed throughout Europe. Kate has her own ensemble and arts organisation "diaspora" developing education and performance projects including the KLLB Band with percussionist and producer Lekan Babalola and cross-cultural improvised music and dance with choreographer and director Isabel Jones.
