Gerard Renvez - Sculptor

Sculptor and artist in residence at University of Nottingham, Djanogly Gallery between 2000-2002. Gerard worked with Isabel Jones to produce "Le Festin", a performance commission to celebrate the launch of the Lakeside Arts Centre in 2002. Gerard developed the work for Salamanda Tandem in 2003 by producing an installation for "Corrosion". Previous cross art form collaborations include "Paper Evidence" and "a fleur de peau" with Wayne McGregor (choreographer) and prima ballerina Viviana Durante, co produced by Nottingham Playhouse in 2000. In 2002 Gerard was the recipient of a 3 year Nesta award to develop his work further.
